Any email account that can confirm reading of a sent email?

I used to have Pegasus Mail in university. Whenever I sent an email to a person, I would get an email back from Pegasus Mail confirming that the person had opened that email. Unfortunately i cannot access Pegasus Mail now.





Does anyone know an email account (preferably a free one!) apart from Pegasus that will confirm opening of the mail by the recipient?
