How do you make your own email account?
Opening a New Free Yahoo Account:


1. Type www.yahoo.com into your browser and press Enter.


2. Click on Check Email.


3. Choose the Free Edition and click "Sign Me Up."


4. Create your Yahoo Email Name and Password.


5. Complete the form that opens, review and click "Submit This Form." (you might want to print the form after finishing it and before continuing, and make a note of the password on the printed page).


6. Click "Continue", then continue to Yahoo Mail.


7. Click on In-Box.


8. Click on "Welcome to Mail" located in the Subject Line to see a message regarding your Email Account/Address. There will be tips and hints here to get you started.





You will need to build your address book by entering email addresses.


1. Click Contacts to open the Address Book.


2. Fill out the form at the top for each address you wish to add, then click the Add button.





1. To Email someone in your address book, click Compose or Forward to open the message window.


2. Click on To, to open your mailing address book on top of the page you are in.


3. Check the box(s) next to the name(s) you wish to send to, go to the top and click "Insert Checked Contacts."





The address book will close and the name(s) you selected will be in the To field. Type your message in the window below and click Send.
