Anyone getting emails about yahoo deleting their email account?

Is anyone getting emails about yahoo deleting their email account, if they don't send certain information. The emails requires you to email your ID, password, and the country you live in or something like that. I just wanna make sure this is legit, before I send the information.

DO NOT reply. This is a phishing scam attempting to get you to give them all your personal info. It's not from Yahoo, just delete it and ignore it. Good luck and be careful.

Reply:It's a scam. Yahoo will never ask you for any account information simply because they have all of it already. If you ever get an e-mail from anyone (PayPal, Yahoo, GMail, etc) asking you for your account information it's a scam.
