HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Our national security will be ******ed if we ever elect this woman and her technology impaired running mate.

i actually didnt know she could use internet....her iq level is still zero.
Reply:bailie28- don't be a moron.

She's perfectly entitled to have a personal email account to email her mother, or whomever else she wants as long as it's not State or Government business.

Alaska has a "Alaska Open Information" Act that is in place so that all government officials in Alaska have their communications monitored.

By her sending official business via an yahoo email account that can be easily monitored by any employee at Yahoo that has access is moronic.

Reply:Problem is not that she used yahoo, the problem is that she used it for official government business. This is without a doubt a breach of internet security protocol. If she did the same in washington the chinese government and who know who else would be previewed to government classified communication.
Reply:You do realize you're saying this on a Yahoo! site, right? And that all of us who post are Yahoo! users ... which means that most of us have Yahoo! mail accounts.

So if you're criticizing Palin for having a Yahoo! account, then what are you saying about yourself and EVERYBODY in this forum?

Do you think she should have set up her own server and domain or something? Is that necessary for all people in public office?
Reply:1) HIgher office in this land...of the people, by the people, and for the people. She fits that perfectly.

2) John McCain cannot send emails because those bastards in Vietnam beat the **** out of him so severely he can't use his fingers on a keyboard (nor can he lift his arm over his head).

Reply:Keep laughing, first they came for Palins account next it will be yours

The Obama administration will be scarier then Bush, throw any thoughts of privacy away pal
Reply:You should be disgusted that people from your side have hacked into it, you fool! Have you no freaking respect for privacy???????
Reply:So...you're pretty much ruling yourself out in the process, then..

Can't say I'd disagree with you on that one. I certainly wouldn't vote for you.

How can I tell if an Email account is still active?

I am trying to contact an old friend via Yahoo email, and have got no response yet.

Is there anyway to determine if the yahoo email address is still being used?

How do I transfer an existing email account to Microsoft Outlook on my new computer?

I just got a new computer, and I want to be able to use my existing Provide.net email account on it, but I don't know how to add it into Outlook as my address. If you know how, could you please give me a step by step process on how to post it in Microsoft Outlook.

Thanks so much!

How do I transfer an existing email account to Microsoft Outlook on my new computer?
You will need to backup your Outlook.pst file from your old computer. It can be found here:

C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Copy that to a CD/DVD/USB Drive, etc.

Then install Outlook on the new computer and start it. Set up the account settings, username, mail servers, etc. and then close Outlook.

Copy the Outlook.pst file form your CD/DVD/USB drive, etc. to the same location on your new computer.

Start Outlook and you should see all your emails, contact, etc. there.

** If you do not see Local Settings, go to Tools menu %26gt; Folder Options %26gt; and under the View tab, check "Show hidden files and folders"
Reply:Call geeks on call and they can basically hack into your computer and do it for you free of no cost and it only takes seconds... just call them and turn off your computer when they tell you too. they will do it for you and they will not put viruses on your computer or anything because you can sew them for everything lost. they dont want to be sewed so they will do there job and be done.
Reply:You can't really "transfer" the settings, you can however set it up again.....you can export all your emails and addresses to an external source, whether its a cd, a flash drive, or you could also export them all to mail to yourself.

You have to setup your account according to your email clients settings...for instance.....if you have an email address that ends in @sbcglobal.net, your pop (incoming) server is pop.mail.sbcglobal.net and your smtp (outgoing) is smtp.mail.sbcglobal.net

You'll also need to enter your userid and password.....once you have your settings for the email, then its just a matter of importing the rest of the info.

Why aren't emails from my work domain being delivered to a yahoo email account?

We don't send bulk mailings, just an occassional email to a client with a yahoo address. Any emails from our domain are undelivered and no bounceback message is produced. Our clients are also unable to find the message in their bulk folder. Just sent myself a test email and despite my work address being in my contacts, no email is received. Please help!

Why aren't emails from my work domain being delivered to a yahoo email account?
Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send recieve delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.
