Try a different browser like firefox..usually that is a browser issue especially if it works on another PC but not that one specific PC...

I have an hotmail email account, and i was wondering, does it cost anything to link my email account to the ipod touch? ( i have only been on the ipod for like five minutes, because i just had to set it up and put it away for xmas :P.So i havent looked into the feature in detail.

Follow this link and you should be OK. It is for the iPhone, BUT they are exactly the same except that an iPod touch has no phone capability.

Oh, and it costs NOTHING to set that up. It will NEVER cost you money to link your email to the iPod Touch (At least not with Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail etc)

There's nothing to do with your security settings, those emails are processed in server-side. It might be your friends or family mistyped your email address.
