Why can't I send email on my newly set up Outlook email account?

I set up my Outlook email, but I cannot send any emails out, I can only receive them. What issue would be causing this? Is there a setting I don't have set up right?

Reply:you might have to tell your ISP to unblock port 25





or before you do that, go to the advanced tab on the accounts set up properties, and check the 2 boxes at the top and the first setting will be port 465 and the second port setting should say 995 if not put it in there
