I tried to access my email and it asked me 5 times to re-verify my password and kept routing me to my account screen. I am wondering if someone was trying to hack into my email.
How can I tell if someone has been trying to access my email account ?
Have you ever given you information to anyone? Perhaps you were logging on from a different computer than you normally use and the system was just trying to identify you.

Someone has hacked my yahoo email account. How do I get it deleted?
I think I know who the person is, but I can't be sure. They have changed my secret question and answer, so I have absolutly no way of getting back in. I have created a new email account with yahoo, but I would like to have the other one deleted so that the person who hacked into won't have access to my personal information. I don't know how to get into contact with yahoo to resolve this issue. Can anyone give me some advice please?

Go to Mail options (if you have beta) on the mail home page. There should be an option somewhere that allows you to block certain email adresses. Or, get a new email address. =)

HELP Why is my Yahoo email account of 10 years suddenly showing NO EMAILS IN IT?
I can't believe this...all my thousands of emails, files everything is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beware everyone, why risk this ever happening to you...how can I retreive them? Can I sue Yahoo? I need the info....who took them or what happened?

If you use POP Access, the emails might be in an external mail client in your computer like Outlook, Windows Mail, Mac Mail.
If that is not the case..fill out the restore help form:
